With the holidays fast approaching, everyone could use a little more joy and hope, don’t you think?
Thankfully, both are plentiful at the Boys & Girls Club of South San Luis Obispo County. Club kids in South SLO decided they wanted to incorporate more kindness into the day. They started meeting regularly to find ways to support the community. From older kids spending time with younger kids to read a story, coordinating school clean-ups, and sending encouraging notes to senior citizens in nursing homes, they are modeling the change they want to see in the world. The next generation is truly our greatest gift. When kids have Clubs and Clubs have you, there is always hope for a great future. This holiday season and always, thank you for supporting the Club and Club kids. After all, they’re the only next generation we’ve got. We wish you a safe holiday season full of joy and hope. |
