Summer 2024 Teen Day camp
ONLINE REGISTRATION OPENS MONDAY, JUNE 24 AT 10:00am
Exciting news! BGC South SLO is thrilled to partner with the Northern Chumash Tribe Council for our 2nd Annual week-long camp! This camp aims to ignite a passion for Chumash culture and marine science among young people. The youth will enjoy fun, safe, and engaging activities and field trips, all centered around the rich heritage of the Central Coast's original indigenous people.
Just as the Chumash have been dedicated stewards of our coastal and ocean environment, we hope to inspire the next generation to become marine scientists and protect our precious marine ecosystems.

After Summer Blast Day Camp 2024
We've recently discovered that some Lucia Mar Summer Blast families might be under the impression that they were automatically enrolled in one of our summer day camps. To ensure accurate registration, it's imperative that your family directly enrolls each of your youth members with us, Boys & Girls Clubs of South SLO County, and receive confirmation. Help spread the word to your friends and community to prevent anyone from missing out on care this summer!

NYOI Members Parent/Guardian Information
Dear Boys & Girls Clubs of South San Luis Obispo Parents/Guardians
Our Club is taking part in the National Youth Outcome Initiative that will be used to track the wellbeing of members in Boys & Girls Clubs nationally.
Members will be asked to fill out a survey between June 10-21, 2024, at the Club in person. The survey takes around 20 minutes to complete.
Members will not put their names on the survey, and individual responses will never be shared in any report of the results.
We would like all members of our Club to take part in this survey, but it is completely voluntary. Survey participants can skip any questions they do not wish to answer.
If you would like to see the survey, a copy is available at our Oceano Clubhouse, 1830 19th Street, Oceano. If you are not able to stop by the Club, please contact Rebecca for specific survey information.
Parental opt-out forms are available with your Club Sites Unit Coordinator. Please return the Opt-Out forms by June 7, 2024. If you wish for your youth member(s) to complete the survey, no action is needed from you at this time.
If you have any questions about the survey, please feel free to email us at [email protected]
Sincerely,
