Celebrating National Mentoring Month
January is National Mentoring Month, and at the Boys & Girls Clubs of South San Luis Obispo County, we are proud to recognize the dedicated mentors who make a difference in the lives of youth every day. Our mentors are trusted role models - listening, encouraging, and supporting youth as they build confidence, discover their strengths, and learn to use their voices. Whether offering guidance after school, celebrating achievements, or simply being a consistent presence, mentors play a vital role in helping young people reach their full potential. We extend our sincere thanks to our families, supporters, and community partners for celebrating National Mentoring Month with us. Although Boys & Girls Clubs of South San Luis Obispo County is associated with Boys & Girls Clubs of America, we receive no direct funding from them. Our Club relies on public and private grants, local businesses, and generous individuals like you. Whether spent on school supplies, healthy snacks, or training for our team of Youth Development Professionals, 100% of your donation will be used at our South SLO Club wherever it will have the most impact.
