Before Winter Break Day Camp – Before Program
Our Before Winter Break Day Camp provides a fun, safe, and engaging environment where youth can learn, grow, and thrive! This program offers a variety of morning activities before the main Winter Break Day Camp begins.

​Dates & Themes:

• Wacky Winter Week #1: Dec 22 & 23, 2025
• Frosty Fun Fest Week #2: Dec 29 & 30, 2025
• Let It Snow in South SLO Week #3: Jan 5–9, 2026

Time: 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM

Who Can Attend:

• Open to all current TK–8th graders enrolled in the Winter Break Day Camp
• Must be enrolled in TK–8th grade for the 2025–2026 school year

Enrollment:

• Online Enrollment: Dec 1 @ 10:00 AM – Dec 12 @ 4:00 PM
• Cost: $60 for 9 days of Before Winter Break Day Camp
• Financial Aid & CAPSLO accepted
• No reimbursements will be provided under any circumstances
• Late Fee: $25 automatically applied if payment is made after enrollment closes
• Required: Completed Winter Break Camp online application and payment prior to attendance

Additional Information:

• Parents/Guardians must review, agree to, and sign the BGC Parent Handbook
• Space is limited and filled on a first-come, first-served basis
• A BLUE Boys & Girls Club T-shirt is available for purchase at $5 each at our Clubhouse
• The Club will be closed on Dec 24, 25, 26, 31, 2025, and Jan 1, 2, 2026

Winter Break Day Camp – Lucia Mar Students
Enrollment Opens: December 1, 10:00am
Enrollment Closes: December 12, 4:00pm

Who Can Attend:

• Free for all current Lucia Mar TK–8th grade students.
• Priority registration is given to LMUSD unduplicated youth.
• All participants must be enrolled in TK through 8th grade for the 2025–2026 school year.

Registration:

• Enrollment is through Lucia Mar School District, not the Boys & Girls Clubs.
• A completed Winter Break Camp Online Application is required for all participants before attendance.

Program Highlights:
Our Winter Break Day Camp provides a fun, safe, and enriching environment where youth can learn, grow, and thrive. The program features daily activities and inspiring guest speakers from various fields.

Themed Weeks:

• Wacky Winter Week #1: December 22 & 23, 2025
• Frosty Fun Fest Week #2: December 29 & 30, 2025
• Let It Snow in South SLO Week #3: January 5–9, 2026

Requirements:

• Parents/Guardians must review, agree to, and sign the BGC Parent Handbook.
• Attendance: 4.5 hours per day with a maximum of 1 unexcused absence.
• Space is limited, so early registration is encouraged.

​Meals Provided:

• Breakfast, lunch, and supper are provided daily.

Dates & Closures:

• The Club will be closed on December 24, 25, 26, 31, 2025, and January 1, 2, 2026.

Funding:

• This program is made possible through the LMUSD Extended Learning Opportunities Grant.

Although Boys & Girls Clubs of South San Luis Obispo County is associated with Boys & Girls Clubs of America, we receive no direct funding from them. Our Club relies on public and private grants, local businesses, and generous individuals like you. Whether spent on school supplies, healthy snacks, or training for our team of Youth Development Professionals, 100% of your donation will be used at our South SLO Club wherever it will have the most impact.
